Contrasting beautifully with all the green in a landscape, this tropical Silver Buttonwood plant can look almost white or sometimes even blue in the landscape. Velvety soft leaves dusted with a silvery gray color with an overall vase shaped habit, growing larger at top than bottom. Useful as a stunning hedge, a backdrop for smaller plants, along the driveway or lining a fence, an anchor for a mixed bed or to soften the corner of the house, a privacy screen, a large accent or even shaped into a small tree. A salt tolerant Florida native and drought tolerant once established. Highly tolerant of many conditions and soil types. Fast growing, usually reaches 10 ft. in the first few years.
